Reviews & comments policy
Voice surgery patients are often not out to the people around them. That makes the usual medical-tourism testimonial format — full name, photograph, before-and-after clip — actively unsafe for a share of our patients. This is how we handle it instead.
What we publish
- Reviews only from people whose coordinated journey we can match to our own records.
- Only with explicit written consent for publication, given after the journey rather than collected in advance as a condition of anything.
- Attribution at the level the patient chooses: first name, initials, or fully anonymous. Country and month are included so a reader can judge recency.
- Reviews about the coordination — communication, logistics, whether we did what we said. Clinical outcomes belong to the surgeon and the patient, not to our marketing.
What we never publish
- Identifiable before-and-after photographs. Not on any page, not with consent, not blurred.
- Voice recordings as outcome proof. A curated best case is not evidence about your case. If a patient consents to a specific recording, it appears labelled and dated, never as an implied prediction.
- Incentivised reviews. No discounts, no free nights, no refunds in exchange for a review. Ever.
- Invented reviews. We do not write, commission, buy or lightly edit reviews.
Negative reviews
We do not remove a review because it is critical. We remove content only where it identifies a third party without consent, is unlawful, or is demonstrably not from a real coordinated patient. If we correct a factual error in a review, the correction is labelled as ours rather than folded into the patient's words.
Consent withdrawal
Any patient can withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@voicesurgeryturkey.com. We remove the review within five working days and do not ask why.
Third-party platforms
Reviews on external platforms are outside our control and we do not solicit, filter or gate them. Where we display an aggregate rating from a third party, it links to the source so you can read the low scores as well as the high ones.
Ask about your voice
Tell us where your voice sits and what you want it to do. A bilingual coordinator replies and asks for a short voice sample, then an independent partner laryngologist gives an honest opinion — including “therapy first” where that is the right answer.
